Childcare Worker
Mino Care is a holistic virtual perinatal health care centre. We offer access to a range of customized culturally safe health care services and supports to navigate reproductive and perinatal health.
Mino Care is looking for motivated Childcare workers to add to our professional team. This Ideal candidate must have a secure and compassionate environment for children whether in their home or at the home of the child. They must provide children with a space that stimulates their intellectual, physical, and emotional growth. And they should plan and implement activities and lesson plans that are age-appropriate, with the child’s well-being in mind.
● Plan, lead, and guide activities throughout the day, such as reading, physical activity, and creative expression through art and song
● Ensure that meals are prepared and distributed to all children
● Provide guidance with safe hygiene practices
● Monitor children throughout the day and ensure safety at all times
● Ensure classroom or play environment is kept sanitary and implement a cleaning schedule
● Degree or certification for ECE/ECEA, or certification/training through training program
● Police/vulnerable sector check
● First aid certificate, food handling certificate (if needed training can be provided by MinoCare team)
